Christmas in an English family home will be an experience of a lifetime. This is a magical time for children and a very happy time for adults.  To experience a traditional English Christmas from 23rd December - 29th December please see the schedule below.


**6 nights from 23rd to 29th December**

3-14yrs accompanied by an adult throughout the stay):7 Day (6 Nights) £410.00

*Due to the popularity of this homestay full payment is required at time of booking to secure the place.

Should you not be fortunate to get the whole vacation period off then you can experience a 2 night Christmas Style Homestay throughout December (excluding 23rd-29th December.)

Afternoon / evening arrival so that you are ready for the start to Christmas.
Enjoy a warming English countryside dinner before relaxing in the lounge with a roaring fire in the wood burner.
Get to know your host family and find out more about your Christmas homestay schedule.

24th
Christmas Eve

(Monday)

Preparation for Christmas including making and finishing the decorations. Trim one of the Christmas trees.
Late afternoon Christmas Carol Concert in the village church with mince pies and hot non-alcoholic fruit punch.
Christmas Eve dinner and an early night to prepare for the visit of Santa Claus on Christmas Day.

(Tuesday)

Wake up to the anticipation that Santa has left gifts for all people who have been good during the year.
Enjoy breakfast before we prepare a traditional countryside Christmas dinner. (If you wish we can teach you how to make Christmas dinner.) Enjoy Christmas dinner with family.
Evening relaxing watching Christmas television or playing games.

Boxing Day

 (Wednesday)

Enjoy a leisurely morning or make mince pies.
Enjoy a Boxing Day lunch of home-made soup and farmhouse bread.
Go for an afternoon walk if the weather is fine before returning home for tea.
Evening relaxing watching Christmas television or playing games by the fire.

After breakfast "Hit the Sales!"
Visit our local city of Nottingham and shop until you drop with bargain sales. Let your money go further, London goods but not London prices!
Return home in the evening to a cosy dinner and fashion show of your bargains if you wish.

(Friday) 

Morning at your leisure before enjoying lunch.
Afternoon visit to a traditional Christmas Pantomime in Grantham's cute little theatre. (At the moment there are spaces but we must book as soon as possible to ensure that seats are available) Enjoy a farewell dinner.
