Visit the city of Lincoln, one of the four main cities of Roman Britain. Enjoy Lincoln Cathedral, one of the finest Medieval buildings in Europe, which featured in the recent film The Da Vinci Code. The cobbled streets of the Cathedral quarter of Lincoln has many specialist shops offering an arrangement of antique, craft, book and gift shops.

Visit this splendid Elizabethan stately home crammed full of antique artefacts. Admire the painted scenes that adorn the walls and ceilings in many of the rooms. Burghley House is often used for period films such as Elizabeth, The Da Vinci Code and Pride and Prejudice starring Keira Knightley.

Visit the birthplace of the great scientist Sir Isaac Newton and see the tree that the famous apple originated from. Explore the science centre which demonstrates many of his theories.

Visit Belton House, one of the finest 17th century country houses in England.
