Historic Stamford
Stamford is renowned as the finest stone built town in England. Relax in the quaint old sector of this town. Shop for antiques, relax, have tea as well as enjoying the buzz of shopping in the modern part of town.

Burghley House
Visit this splendid Elizabethan stately home crammed full of antique artefacts. Admire the painted scenes that adorn the walls and ceilings in many of the rooms. Burghley House has been a location for period films such as Elizabeth, The Da Vinci Code and Pride and Prejudice starring Keira Knightley.

Woolsthorpe Manor
Visit the birthplace of the great scientist Sir Isaac Newton and see the tree that the famous apple originated from. Explore the Science Centre which demonstrates many of his theories.

Nottingham
Visit the world famous home city of Robin Hood. Enjoy visiting the site of Nottingham Castle. Have lunch at the oldest pub in England dating back to 1189.

Belton House and Garden
Visit Belton House, one of the finest 17th century country houses in England. Inside Belton House is a stunning array of decoration, paintings and furniture and it is no surprise that it has been a favourite place to visit by many of England's royal family over the centuries. In the 19th century the gardens were restored to their George II glory.

Chatsworth House and Garden
Visit what is said by many to be the finest country house and garden in England. Known as the 'Palace of the Peak' Chatsworth is a stately home with immense beauty and has one of Europe's leading art collections.
