This fantastic package will appeal to the antique buyer from overseas. We have arranged for you to attend a live auction, visit antique shops in local towns, browse the antiques at Hemswell, the largest antique centre in Europe and attend the Newark International Antique Fair.
This homestay package is also suitable for the Antiques enthusiast who enjoys antiques as a hobby as there is no necessity to buy. The days will be full of enjoyment of and learning about the antiques world.
At the end of each day you can return to your homestay accommodation in the heart of the English countryside. Transport will be provided throughout, making your homestay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

Spend
the day at Europe's most spectacular Antique & Home Show. With over 2,500
stalls there are antiques and collectables to suit every taste. The stalls
are spread over a wide area both indoors and outside. After finishing
shopping or just browsing you can relax on your journey back to your English
home at Skillington.

Morning at leisure before making the journey to Hemswell
Antiques Centre. Hemswell Antiques Centre is the largest antique
centre in Europe. View and shop for the vast array of antiques on offer
at your leisure.

Northgate Auction Rooms.
Relax at your homestay accommodation in the morning before heading for
the historic market town of Newark and the Northgate Auction Room where
you will able to browse what is in the sale before bidding in the live
auction from 2pm should you so wish. After the auction visit
the historic castle ruins before returning home.

The Newark International
Antiques and Collectors Fair is the largest event of its kind in Europe.
Spend the day there either browsing or shopping for antiques. With up to
4,000 stalls you can be assured that there is that special something
that you are looking for.

Newark International Antiques Fair or Relaxing Rutland Day
Make a second visit to the show if you have not finished buying. If
not, then why not enjoy a picnic on the shores of Rutland Water. This is
the largest man-made lake in Western Europe and now an active nature
reserve. It is one of the most important wildfowl sanctuaries
in Britain. After this visit Barnsdale Garden which was made famous for
many years as the BBC Gardeners' World garden. Being made up of 37
smaller gardens Barnsdale offers ideas for every garden whether big or
small.
Return home to a cosy last night dinner and assess your trip.
