Enjoy this fantastic opportunity to visit the ancestral home of the much loved Diana, Princess of Wales. Althorp House is set in the stunning Northamptonshire countryside. The House contains one of Europe’s most spectacular collections of furniture, paintings and ceramics. These have been collected by the family for over 500 years. Discover these as you meander through the nineteen rooms open to the public.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before walking in the delightful grounds including the area around the Round Oval Lake where Diana, Princess of Wales was laid to rest on the island in the middle. Along the edge of the lake is a Temple dedicated to her memory. Take time to pay your respects.
After strolling around the garden visit the award-winning Diana: A Celebration exhibition, which celebrates the life and work of Diana, Princess of Wales. It contains many of her famous dresses including her bridal gown, childhood letters and unique extracts from family home movies.
Finally peruse the gift shop and take back a memento of your visit to Althorp House.
