Why not take one of our themed homestays and include a Cotswolds Day trip during your stay. The Cotswolds is an area of outstanding beauty with pretty honey-coloured stone houses nestled amongst rolling hills and farmland.
There are large, elegant cities such as Cheltenham, superb market towns like Stow-on-the-Wolds and many cute villages such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury, Broadway and Chipping Campden.
Our day starts in delightful Chipping Campden where you can enjoy mid morning tea & scones in a quaint tea shop. We then make our way down to Bibury to view the most iconic buildings in the Cotswolds, Arlington Row. The famous Arts & Crafts designer William Morris called Bibury "the most beautiful village in England". After soaking up the beauty of Bibury we head towards the Venice of the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water where we will enjoy our picnic lunch by the stream that flows through the village befor
e exploring the area. Finally, on our return journey we make a short visit to the impressive high street of Broadway with its high class shops and antique businesses.
